Family is very important to Coppelia. She enjoys the adventures of having two young children along with serving in church with her husband, Adam. Born into a musical family, Coppelia loves to sing and lead worship and is passionate about theatre. Named after a French ballet of the same name, Coppelia was born and raised in Puerto Rico and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. With more than 10 years of Christian radio experience, Coppelia has worked for Christian radio stations K-LOVE and The Rock Radio Network. Phillipians 1:6 is one of her favorite verses because it helps her realize that she doesn’t need to have it all together and that’s ok - God is still working on her.
Joey K
Midday Show
Joey started in radio at the age of 16 years old and with older brothers who work for stations here in the Houston area, you could say that radio is "in the blood.” He was an intern at KSBJ while attending high school back in 1995 and then went to work for Clear Channel in Houston. Now, he's back home at KSBJ! Married to his high school sweetheart, Priscilla, since 2001, they have a beautiful little girl named Daniella Jolie, and a dog named Teddy. Joey loves to spend time with his wife, go to the movies, and run his DJ BROTHERS service. John 3:16 is his favorite scripture.
Jen
Evening Show Announcer
Jen hosts the Evening Show on KSBJ from 7pm to midnight and has a blast doing it – it’s her dream job! She’s from Kansas City, Missouri and holds clarinet performance degrees from the University of Michigan and Rice University. When not working, Jen likes hanging out with friends and family, watching sports (especially the KC Royals and Michigan Wolverines), running, reading, going to concerts, shopping and playing with her Pugs Daisy Sue and Tux. Her favorite Bible verse is 1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you.”
Duane
Overnight Announcer
Hosting the overnight shift on KSBJ, Duane is the friendly voice after midnight, taking your prayer requests, encouraging you with words from the Bible, and playing great Christian music. He has been married now for 30 years to his wife, Sharon. They have one daughter, Sarah, a terrific son-in-law, Matthew, a precious granddaughter, Skylar Elizabeth, and a wonderful grandson, Brycen Allen. Duane enjoys sports, reading, and traveling. His favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 9:15.
Pam
Assistant Program Director
As Assistant Program Director, Pam is a jack of all trades often covering on-air shifts and is responsible for developing and scheduling KSBJ’s part-time air talent. Pam is not new to the Broadcasting world – she’s been heard all over the Houston dial, mostly on rock and alternative stations, but God has used her career and experiences to prepare her for KSBJ. Married to Todd, they have a little boy named Christopher, and a stepdaughter, Kasy (with a grandbaby on the way). Although a cat devotee, she confesses to having 3 large dogs, Rosie, Maggie and Spike. She loves to fish, cook and camp! Let Pam tell you about her favorite bumper sticker: 1 cross + 3 nails = 4given!
Brooklynne
Part-Time Announcer
Brooklynne is a burst of sunshine and energy. She loves to pray, encourage, offer spiritual support and share what God has placed on her heart. Brooklynne’s husband, Mike, keeps a permanent smile on her face – which is good because she loves to laugh! Together, they are involved with their local church in small groups, youth and the worship band. Don’t challenge this duo to Disney trivia though – they are fanatics who love everything and anything Disney. Some of Brooklynne’s favorite scriptures are about love. She says, “God has called us to love others like He has so graciously loved us. It’s not always easy, but with God’s grace and love for each of us, we can learn to love others unconditionally.”
Chelle
Part-Time Announcer
Chelle’s passion is her children. This mom of three was once a foster parent who raised 14 children, 2 of whom were adopted with her husband, Josh. She still keeps in touch with many of the children and through them, she’s been able to understand the depth of God’s love even more. “I love how God shows me how much He cares for me, by reminding me it’s the same feeling I have for my own children. His love is just that much more intense!” Chelle admits to being a television-aholic and a worry-wart, but Matthew 6:34 helps her during anxious times.
Chris
Part-Time Announcer
Sundays from 2pm-6pm is where you can find Chris encouraging, taking prayer requests and sharing her everyday life stories. She loves the color pink. She has music playing everywhere she goes, and her favorite thing to talk about is Jesus and the amazing things she learns daily, following Him. She is happily married to her husband Mike and is blessed with two beautiful daughters, Michaela and Kayla, along with her step-son Michael Douglas. During the week she is busy running her catering company. Her favorite verse is Psalm 37:5. Depend on the Lord; trust Him, and He will take care of you.

Chris is the encouraging voice on Saturday afternoons sharing scripture, fun, music and blessings. He’s the proud father of two, Monica and Andrew, and is engaged to his beautifull fiancee, Veronica. He's a faithful supporter of the Texans, Astros and just about any Houston Sport's Team. Currently a senior at the University of Houston, this busy guy likes traveling, working out, playing guitar, and public speaking. He also enjoys cooking – rumor has it that his Bar-B-Q ribs are amazing! Chris loves to remind listeners to trust in God because God’s promises can’t be outdone (John 14:1-3).
David

An active member of the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Houston for almost 30 years, David creates archival recordings of the society’s performances every summer. It’s in his blood - his father was an original founder of the society and his mother was an active stage hand while carrying him. Both have now gone home to the Lord. David is a huge baseball fan and enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Connie, and dog, Sammi. He lives out in the country, away from the concrete and traffic.
