'So blessed by listening to KSBJ' 07-09-2010| 'Cindy''Friday ' 'I started listening to KSBJ while sitting with my Father in Law at the nursing facility in December 2008. He was a wonderful Godly man and went to be with the Lord that same year. He was 90 years old and living with us when he broke his hip and shoulder. His health deteriorated quickly and we sat quietly and listened to Christian music in his rehab room. In December, obviously the music was Christmas music which was calming to him. We spent hours listening and reflecting on what God had done in our lives and celebrating in our minds, the significant meaning of the birth of our Saviour.
We went to be with the Lord, 12/12/08, but I remained an avid listener, as did my husband. No matter what storms of life may come, it is great to turn on the radio and be reminded that God Listens! If you listen to other radio stations, one could easily give up and say that all is rotten with the world and there is no hope. SO NOT TRUE!
We serve an awesome God! I thank God for KSBJ and all the many employees and volunteers that make such an impact for God in the lives of so many. '
